A couple years ago, I sat down at the kitchen table and tried to braid my daughter’s hair.

It was a mess.

But something surprising happened: she lit up. She felt seen. And so did I.

What started as a fumbling attempt to get a ponytail right turned into Dad Braids—a movement about showing up with love, patience, and presence.

I’m not a stylist. I’m just a dad who cares deeply.

And that’s really the whole point.
